Art walk along Park Ave.

Recently took a walk down Park Ave. to look at the new art that was installed. The art was by a Cuban artist Alexandre Arrechea, he says that he wants to establish a link between architecture and human nature. Each sculpture was a replica of an iconic building in NYC.

I enjoyed taking photos of the sculptures because it gave me a new skyline to play with.

Documenting the abundance of water towers that sit on top of buildings in NYC and discovering why they are there. I was inspired by Bernd and Hilla Becher’s typologies.
